アダマンタイト級冒険者チーム「蒼の薔薇」の
魔力系魔法詠唱者、イビルアイ。
今回彼女が身に纏うのは、 祝祭用にあつらえられた
シックなドレス。「蒼の薔薇」のリーダー、
ラキュースが用意した装備である。
普段の格好からは想像できない令嬢然とした
ドレスは、黒を基調としながらも細部に 到るまで
美麗な刺繍が施された高級品。
普段のイビルアイであれば袖を通す事すら嫌がる
類の衣装であるが、エ・ランテルの復興を祝う
祝宴に顔を出すにあたり、住民たちの敬意と希望を
担うアダマンタイト級冒険者として相応しい姿で
出るべきとのラキュースの我儘じみた提案に
渋々従い、年季の入ったマント姿から
この真新しいドレスへと着替えた。
ラキュースは当初、も っと派手な色のドレスをと
提案してきたが、流石にそれには抗い、
落ち着いた黒一色のものを選ぶことに成功した。
だが、一方で愛用の仮面は取り上げられてしまい、
髪型もアレンジメントが 施されるに至る。
だが、祝宴の当日、イビルアイ以外のメンバーは
通常の装備で祭りの場にしれっと顔を出している。
文句を言おうとしたイビルアイだが、彼女たちの
装備や甲冑がいつもの 数割増しで磨きぬかれている
様子を見て、口を閉ざすほかなくなってしまった。
なにより、イビルアイのドレス姿を見て
穏やかに微笑むラキュースの様子を見れば、
自分が道化役となった甲 斐があったとも
思えている。これはドレスを纏ったが故の
精神的な成長なのかも知れない。
